How it works

From a typed message to a playable signal.

The generator turns each letter into its Morse pattern, then plays it as real audio — or saves it as a file you can reuse.

01

Type your message

Write any text on the left. Letters, digits and punctuation are all supported; the Morse appears on the right as you type.

02

Generate Morse

Each character is mapped to its International Morse code pattern, with spaces between letters and slashes between words.

03

Play, watch or download

Press play to hear it (the light blinks in time), or download a .wav file at your chosen speed and pitch.

FAQ

Morse code generator, explained.

Can I download the Morse audio?
Yes — press “Download WAV” to save the current Morse output as a .wav file, generated entirely in your browser at your chosen speed and pitch. Nothing is uploaded; the file is built and saved locally on your device.
What file format is the audio?
WAV (.wav), an uncompressed audio format that plays on every device and operating system without any codec or extra app.
What are WPM and pitch?
WPM (words per minute) controls how fast the dots and dashes play — lower is slower. Pitch (Hz) controls the tone frequency. Beginners often use 10–15 WPM at 600 Hz; expert operators copy at 25–30+ WPM.
Is this different from the translator?
The translator is bidirectional (text and Morse both ways). This generator focuses on producing Morse from text with audio playback, a visual signal light, and a WAV download — ideal for making signals you can save and reuse.
